Chocolate Chunk Smoothie Bowl
Yes, you CAN have chocolate for breakfast! This Chocolate Chunk Smoothie Bowl is decadent and packed with antioxidants and fiber, the perfect way to start any day.
Smoothie bowls are a great way to sneak vegetables into a sweet creamy treat, and especially on a hot summer day (or just a Monday), it's a healthy way to basically eat ice cream for breakfast - let's be honest!

Now, Let's Make a Chocolate Chunk Smoothie Bowl!
Step 1. Add nut milk, pitted dates and frozen banana to high speed blender. We add these first to help lubricate the blender blades so it blends easier. Then, add the spinach, peanut butter, cocoa powder, vanilla powder or extract, ice cubes, and blend with blender agitator/plunger to help everything come together until smooth.
Step 2. Add chocolate chips and blend again for no more than 8 seconds. Serve immediately and top with fresh sliced banana, chocolate granola, strawberries and pumpkin seeds.
Recipe for Chocolate Chunk Smoothie Bowl
Time: 5 minutes
Difficulty: Very easy
1/2 cup nut milk
3 dates pitted
2 frozen bananas sliced or halved
1/4 cup frozen spinach
1 heaping Tbsp of peanut butter or almond butter
1 Tbsp dark cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla powder or 1 tsp vanilla extract
3 ice cubes or frozen nut milk cubes
1/4-1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips
Add nut milk, dates and bananas to high speed blender, followed by spinach, peanut butter, cocoa powder, vanilla, and ice cubes. Blend using the agitator/plunger on low until smooth, then add chocolate chips. Blend again for no more than 8 seconds.
Serve immediately and top with sliced banana, chocolate granola, sliced strawberries and pumpkin seeds.
